Unlike other perspective, the Indonesian School Scholar bringing the paradigm, philosophy, and theory based on the Mysticism-Manularism in balancing Western philosophical methods of Western International Relations Theory (IRT) based on Materialism-Secularism. So, the Indonesian School of International Relations is matter but raise its status to “the Indonesian School of World Relations” to build the synthesis in the Discipline of World Relations.
A World Relations Theory is the key aspect for the Indonesian School as a different unique approach to the other schools such as: the English School, the American School, the Copenhagen School, the Canadian School, the Russian School, the French School, and the Frankfurt School, the Indian School, also the Chinese School. So why we need to found the “the Indonesian School of World Relations”? Does it matter than just the “the Indonesian School of International Relations?
Based on the “Demak Declaration“, Mazhab Indonesia need to found and to establish “Indonesian School of World Relations” with some considerations:
- Indonesian School needs to take part in building of world civilization in the present time and in the future by offering references to the other school in exploring the values of Indonesian ontology, epistemology and axiology at the regional and international levels to introduce and develop of the “Indonesian School”.
- Indonesian School needs to bridge the shift in understanding of International Relations scholars whose approach is still Western-centric to an Eastern-centric approach. Therefore, the Indonesian School presents ways of thinking about seeing the “World Relation” beyond the “International Relations”.
- The Indonesian School needs to expand the construction of the world order by understanding the world within the framework of thinking “World Relations System (WR)” beyond the “International Relations System (IR).”
- The Indonesian School needs to found his central paradigms, philosophies, and theories in seeing the world (worldview) based on the Indonesian Values. In this case we offer World Kemanunggalan Values (Nilai-Nilai Kemanunggalan Dunia: Gotong Royong, Kesatuan, dan Kerukunan) of “Manunggalism”.
- The Indonesian School needs to build a better world more than a Globalizations but beyond it by offering the “Manunggalization” as Purification of World of the 21st Century: A Manunggalian Era.
